The Deacon’s Ministry consists of male members who have qualified for such office as provided for in Acts 6:3 and I Timothy 3:8-13. Deacons are recommended by the Pastor and confirmed by the congregation.  This ministry supports the Pastor and ministers to the needs of the church.

The purpose of this ministry is to provide food and refreshment services for the members and visitors of Mount Sinai.  Members serving on this ministry are responsible to the Trustees for the care of the kitchen facility, which is located in the annex.

The Music Ministry consists of men and women who allow God to use them through their musical gifts.  This ministry is dedicated to creating a spirit filled atmosphere through prayer, praise and worship to usher the congregation into the Holy Presence of God.

Sunday School here at Mount Sinai is our reading and teaching ministry. This ministry empowers saints to grow knowledgeable so that they may fulfill God’s will. The goal is to provide educational direction for each and every attendee in order for them to grow to understand the Lord and his principles in the Holy Bible.  Sunday School provides an opportunity for people of all ages to learn in peer groups by administering lessons, studying and discussing God’s word.  Youth Sunday School meets in the annex.

 The Trustee’s Ministry is entrusted with taking care of the financial development and welfare of the church’s property. Trustees are members that are recommended by the Pastor and Deacon Ministry and then presented to the congregation. The number of Trustees shall be commensurate with the growth of the church. The Trustees shall have no power to buy, sell, mortgage least or transfer any property without the specific vote of the church authorizing such action.

The usher ministry creates an atmosphere with the love of Jesus when saints first arrive at church.  An usher is one who helps members and visitor’s feel comfortable, directs those who have come to worship and serves with spiritual dignity during church service. Here at Mount Sinai we have a Senior and Youth Usher Ministry.
